Melanie Kong leverages her expertise in engineering and education to drive impactful changes in how students learn. As co-founder and CEO of Floop, she built an EdTech startup that enabled meaningful feedback for over 200k teachers and students. With more than 10 years of experience in education, Melanie has worked as a high school STEM teacher, professional development trainer, and curriculum developer. Before her education career, she was a product engineer at P&G and Shell, focusing on R&D and user research. Melanie holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from UT Austin and is pursuing an M.S. in Computer Science from Georgia Tech.
