Maureen Ferry currently serves as the project lead of the Studio Classroom Project (Math), where she leads a team working directly with principals, teachers, and students in the Bronx to maximize student performance through a radical classroom model leveraging self-paced student mastery, AI-enabled technology and rapid teacher growth. 

Prior to Teaching Lab Studio, Maureen served as the principal of Exceed Upper Charter School in Brooklyn, NY where she led the school to dramatic improvements on New York State Assessments, surpassing pre-COVID achievement levels and reaching its highest achievement in history. 

Prior to Exceed, Maureen led the Teacher Leadership Development Fellowship at Teach for America and Teacher Training and Student Impact team for Teach for India, where she led teams training over 900 teachers. She began her career as a middle school math and science teacher with Teach For America. She holds an MA in Education Administration from San Jose State University, a BA in Economics and Psychology from the University of Michigan, and an executive coaching certificate from Brown University and ACT.
