
Ian Sullivan has spent most of the millennium helping people understand and leverage technology to benefit society. His background includes coordinating the GPLv3 license revision process, supporting instructors of less commonly taught language at Columbia, helping researchers improve their work's reproducibility with tools from the Center for Open Science, and serving as an analyst during the OSI's public drafting of the Open Source AI definition. As an AI/ML Product Manager since 2021, Ian brings experience shaping these powerful new capabilities into tools with measurable and compelling value for users.
A native of NYC and its public schools, Ian now lives in Richmond, VA with his partner and their two children. He is currently pursuing a Masters in Human Centered AI. Feel free to ask him about board games, book scanning, and the longest story ever written.
