With the rapid boom in AI tools, teachers are suddenly faced with more edtech options than ever. Some are simple and helpful, while others can feel complicated, time-consuming, or not quite aligned to what you actually need in the classroom. Knowing where to start can be overwhelming!
At Coteach, we want to make things clear. Our goal is to give teachers quick, practical support on how to begin using Coteach. We do this through short videos, step-by-step guides, and blog posts that show exactly how to use Coteach and see real impact right away.
What is Coteach? Coteach is a curriculum-aligned AI assistant, deeply integrated with IM v.360 by Illustrative Mathematics®. It is for math teachers (grades K-12), who use the IM curriculum. Coteach is built around IM lessons’ structure and approach, helping educators respond to student needs, adjust lesson pacing, create impactful practice problems, and more – all aligned to IM.
One way that we help teachers use our tools is through our blog. We recently posted a three-part series on how to use Coteach in a data-informed manner to guide instruction.
In the series, my colleague Jonathan Ben-Isvy and I highlight how Coteach can help teachers:
Part 1: Lead impactful small group instruction (read here)
Part 2: Create meaningful, targeted practice, where students can work independently or in small group of peers (read here)
Part 3: Plan enrichment activities that students can complete on their own (read here)
